MINNEAPOLIS — Dayan Viciedo belted his 18th homer of the season to lead off the 10th inning Tuesday night, and Tyler Flowers added a two-run shot three batters later — his second homer of the night — helping the White Sox to a 6-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins at Target Field.

Viciedo and Flowers connected against Minnesota right-hander Lester Oliveros, each hitting to the opposite field. Viciedo hit his to right-center and Flowers poked his inside the right-field pole.

Flowers also homered in the second inning against Twins lefty Tommy Milone and finished with four RBI. It was the first multi-homer game of Flowers’ career. The Sox catcher has 12 homers this season.

Javy Guerra, Eric Surkamp, Daniel Webb (6-4) and Jake Petricka (11th save) combined for three scoreless innings of relief.

The Twins scored two in the first on a two-run homer by Kennys Vargas and added a run in the second on Danny Santana’s RBI double against Sox right-hander Hector Noesi

The Sox scored three in the second on Flowers’ homer and Carlos Sanchez’ RBI double. Sanchez was 3-for-3 with a walk.

Noesi pitched seven innings, finishing with five consecutive scoreless frames. Noesi allowed nine hits, walked none and struck out five while lowering his ERA to 4.71.

Sox center fielder and leadoff man Adam Eaton was ejected in the sixth inning after he was called out on strikes by umpire Greg Gibson. It was the first career ejection for Eaton, who was 0-for-3 with a walk.
