Festival passes for the 17th annual Roger Ebert Film Festival, April 15-19 at the Virginia Theatre in downstate Champaign, will go on sale Nov. 1.

Passes, $145 (entry to all festival screenings), can be purchased through the festival website, the theater website, or the theater box office, 203 W. Park Ave. Individual screening tickets ($12-$14) will be available starting April 1, 2015.

The full schedule of films, special guests and panel discussions will be announced at a later date.

The festival champions those films “overlooked” by mainstream media, theaters and audiences and was founded for such purpose by the late Chicago Sun-Times film critic, who died in 2013. Chaz Ebert will serve as the fest’s official host and executive producer.
