In an effort to contain the spread of the Ebola virus in the United States, additional screening measures will start Thursday at O’Hare Airport as well as Newark’s Liberty, Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson and northern Virginia’s Dulles airports.

The measures started Saturday at New York’s Kennedy International Airport, where customs and health officials, using no-touch thermometers, began taking the temperatures of passengers arriving from three Ebola-ravaged West African countries.
