Three men were shot while standing in a gas station parking lot in the Austin neighborhood early Saturday.

The three were in the 5100 block of West Madison about 2:20 a.m. when a gray sedan pulled into the parking lot. A male got out of the car and opened fire, striking the men, police said.

One man, 24, was shot in the right side of his torso. Another, age 19, was shot in the back. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions had stabilized, police said.

The third man, 21, suffered a graze wound to his head. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had also stabilized.
