St. Charles North returned to the Class AA state meet at Hickory Point in Decatur for the second straight year.

After finishing ninth a year ago, the North Stars placed taking 11th this year.

Sophomore Gianna Furrie led the way, tying for 13th in the individual standings. She shot a 76 Saturday to give her a two-day tally of 157. Sophomore Kate Lillie tied for 43rd with a 166. Senior Gabi Spinazze (186) tied for 90th.

Burlington Central junior Josie Kurosky shot a 175 to tie for 68th. St. Charles East freshman Nicole Jordan tied for 71st in her first state trip with a 177.

Across town at the Class A meet at Red Tail Run, St. Edward senior Ryann Scully tied for 33rd with a 172.
