Two men shot in Austin

Two men were shot Sunday evening in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The men, 18 and 22, were in the 5100 block of West Hirsch about 5:15 p.m. when they were shot, police said.

The 18-year-old was shot in the leg, and the 22-year-old suffered a graze wound to the ankle, police said. Both were in good condition at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park.

A police source said the 18-year-old is a documented gang member.
