(NORTHFIELD) The eastbound Willow Road exit ramp from the northbound Edens Expressway closed Monday to allow for reconstruction.

The closure—put in place Monday—is scheduled to last until Oct. 30, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Traffic was being detoured to the Dundee Road exit to access eastbound Willow Road via Waukegan Road, IDOT said.

Drivers should expect delays and allow extra time for trips through the area.
