Man shot in Lincoln Park

A man was shot in the Lincoln Park neighborhood Monday afternoon.

About 4 p.m., a 20-year-old man was standing outside with a group in the 1600 block of North Vine when someone opened fire across the street, striking him in the leg, police said.

The man took himself to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
