A man died Tuesday, more than four months after he was involved in a motorcycle crash in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Ricardo Roman, 44, was driving a motorcycle westbound in the 3500 block of West Fullerton about 1 a.m. June 14 when a vehicle that had been parked pulled a U-turn in front of him, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The motorcycle collided with the vehicle and the rider was thrown from the bike, police said.

Roman, of the 5800 block of West Melrose, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he died at 12:22 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.

An autopsy Wednesday found he died of complications from multiple injuries and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

The driver of the vehicle was cited for making a U-turn near an intersection, police said.
