A woman who had been missing from the Portage Park neighborhood for more than a week has been found.

Barbara Chuba, 60, had last been seen Oct. 15, and efforts to contact her at her home in the 4700 block of North Linder were unsuccessful, police said. Her boss reported her missing when she didn’t show up for work for several days.

She was located safely, police announced Thursday night.
