A man was shot Saturday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 9 p.m., the 18-year-old man was standing on the corner with a group of people in the 4000 block of West West End Avenue, when he heard shots ring out and felt pain, police said.

He was shot in the leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
