Three shot in Washington Park

Two men and a 17-year-old boy were shot Sunday night in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.

The men, ages 21 and 26, and the teen were walking outside in the 5500 block of South State about 9:50 p.m. when they heard shots and realized they had been struck, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

The teen, shot in the thigh, and the 26-year-old, shot multiple times in the body, were taken to Stroger Hospital, Greer said. The younger man was shot in the foot and taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center.

All their conditions were stabilized, police said.
