SHARE ‘Chicago Fire’ cast members to judge Chicago Chili Cook-Off

Cast members from the hit NBC series “Chicago Fire” will be among the guest judges when The Chicago Fire Department’s Northside Fire Brigade, Gaelic Fire Brigade and Mo Dailey’s present the Chili Cook-Off! at Mo Dailey’s Pub and Grille, 6070 N. Northwest Hwy.,  on Nov. 2 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Stars David Eigenberg, Joe Minoso and Yuri Sardarov will be among the judging panel that also includes Mark Konkol from DNA Info, Chicago City Clerk Susana Mendoza, Chicago Fire Department Fire Commissioner Jose Santiago and Deputy Chief Nielson.

This event also celebrates the Old Style Chicago Heroes Can, a commemorative can to honor the bravery, lives and risks taken by Chicago’s firefighters. Sales of the special cans (available at retailers across Chicago) will benefit’s the Ende, Menzer, Walsh and Quinn (EMWQ) Retirees’, Widows’ and Children’s Assistance Fund, a local organization that provides financial assistanceto the neediest widows and orphans of members of the Chicago Fire Department. The can will be available at the event.

Cook-Off tickets, $40 (includes beer, wine and rail drinks, the chili tasting and outdoor BBQ items) will be available for purchase at the door. Information can be found at www.facebook.com/ChicagoOldStyle.
