Item #1: Rihanna’s fifth fragrance targets the guys and is called “Rogue Men.”

Item #2: Sting’s “The Last Ship,” which had it’s big pre-Broadway tryout here last spring opened to generally favorable reviews this weekend, especially from the all-important New York Times. While many critics took issues with some aspects of the show, Sting’s score and songs were universally praised.

Item #3: The seventh “Fast & Furious” film will be called “Furious 7.” The trailer’s out Saturday and it will be interesting to see how the filmmakers worked around the unfinished scenes for the late Paul Walker, killed in that fiery car crash last December. His brother stepped in to cover some scenes. It will be interesting to see how that worked out.

Item #4: Jim Carrey’s third hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” was a hit with the public — giving SNL a nice boost in ratings.
