A toddler was hospitalized early Friday after he fell from a second story window in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The boy — thought to be 1 or 2 years old — fell from a window about 2:15 a.m. in the 3300 block of West Warren, said police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Greer said.

The fall appears to be accidental, Greer said.
