If the first day of advance ticket sales for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1” is any indication, the latest film in the mega-successful franchise could break yet another record when it opens Nov. 21. According to Fandango, those one-day orders set a record for 2014, surpassing the numbers racked up prior to the opening of “Divergent,” back in the spring.

Many in Hollywood are thinking that this is a sign the movie, starring Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, will well surpass the opening weekend for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” which pulled in $153 million last year. Could a number like $200 million be in the offing? Sounds like it might happen.
