Man shot in Little Village

A 22-year-old man was shot Saturday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The man walked into Saint Anthony Hospital at 6:55 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the back, according to police News Affairs Officer Ana Pacheco. He told police that he had been shot in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw, Pacheco said.

Details on the circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately available but police said it may have been gang-related.

The man was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, Pacheco said.
