A man was shot Sunday night while sitting on a porch in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was sitting on a porch in the 6800 block of South Peoria about 8:25 p.m. when he heard a shot and realized he’d been struck in the left shoulder, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in good condition, Alfaro said.
