A man who was shot in the West Side Austin neighborhood Tuesday afternoon later showed up at an Oak Park hospital.

The 26-year-old man was shot in the leg in the 4900 block of West Division a few minutes after 1 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.

He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition had stabilized, Sweeney said.
