A teenage girl was shot Tuesday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 16-year-old was shot in the 7200 block of South Paulina about 7:45 p.m., police said.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition with a gunshot wound to the hip, police said.
