First Lady Michelle Obama, who headlines a get-out-the-vote rally for Gov. Pat Quinn at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the UIC Pavillion in Chicago, is featured in a TV ad the Quinn campaign released on Monday urging people to vote for Quinn. The spot, with Obama speaking to the camera, is a video version of a radio ad released last week, the day before President Barack Obama headlined a $1 million fundraiser for Quinn. I’m told Mrs. Obama taped the spot for Quinn in early September.

The First Lady: This is Michelle Obama and I know Pat Quinn. I’ve seen that Pat has the courage to do what’s right. Now, Pat’s fighting to raise the minimum wage. So for this election, Barack and I are casting our votes for our friend Pat Quinn.
