A man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon on the West Side.

About 1 p.m., the 27-year-old was driving a vehicle in the 3400 block of West North Avenue when someone shot him in the leg, police said.

He took himself to Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
