(ORLAND PARK) A turn lane onto La Grange Road in southwest suburban Orland Park will be closed starting Thursday because of construction work.
The westbound left-turn lane from 167th Street to La Grange Road (U.S. 45) will be closed so crews can reconstruct the intersection as part of a larger U.S. 45 widening project, the Illinois Department of Transportation said in a release.
It will reopen the first week in November, IDOT said. Motorists should use 94th Avenue andd 171st Street as alternate routes.
