The 50th Chicago International Film Festival kicks off Oct. 9 (and runs through Oct. 23)

The anniversary celebration kicks off with a gala presentation opening night at the Harris Theater (205 E. Randolph). All other screenings will be held at the AMC River East 21 (322 E. Illinois)
