Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot Thursday night in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 19-year-old man was shot in the lower back about 9:55 p.m. in the 300 block of West 118th Street, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said, citing preliminary information.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, but his condition was not immediately known, Alfaro said.
