An elderly man with dementia who walked away from his South Side health care provider on Friday has been found.

Sylvester Franklin, 71, was last seen about 4:30 p.m. at a Bridgeport McDonald’s restaurant at 3020 S. Halsted St., according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Franklin has since been located, police said in a subsequent alert Saturday evening.
