Gov.-elect Bruce Rauner is launching a website that will allow individuals to apply for jobs in his administration.

The website is www.MakeIllinoisGreat.com. Visitors also can submit ideas to improve the state.

Rauner will be sworn into office in January.

Rauner says making Illinois “the most compassionate and competitive” state in America is a challenge. He’s named a transition team of advisers that includes former White House chief of staff Bill Daley.

Lt. Governor-elect Evelyn Sanguinetti is chairwoman of Rauner’s transition committee. She says whether Democrat, Republican or independent, the incoming administration wants to hear from the public.

The website unveiled Tuesday also solicits donations.
