A Chicago man is charged with aggravated DUI for a wrong-way crash that hurt four people on the Kennedy Expressway last weekend.
The two-car crash happened about 3:50 a.m. Sunday when a man drove a vehicle southbound into the northbound lanes of the Kennedy (I-90/94) near North Avenue and collided with another vehicle, according to Illinois State Police.
The driver, 26-year-old Ryan P. Jacobs, of Chicago, was charged with aggravated DUI causing great bodily harm, driving the wrong way and disobeying a traffic control device, state police said.
Three people were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and one was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, state police said.
