A teenage boy was shot Sunday evening in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 15-year-old was walking in the 300 block of East 53rd Street about 5 p.m. when someone walked out of an alley, opened fire and ran off, police said.

The boy was taken to University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital with a graze wound to the abdomen, police said. He was listed in good condition.
