Senior forward George Sargeant and junior guard Jon Arenas each scored 24 points as the Maine South boys basketball team used a third-quarter burst to take control of the game and beat Libertyville 71-59.

“You are never going to be the type of team you are going to be in the future in November,” Maine South coach Tony Lavorato Jr. said. “Any time in November you can learn and pick up wins is a success.”
