(HARVEY) A 62-year-old man died after a traffic crash in south suburban Harvey on Friday night.

Charles Brown, of the 1800 block of Covenant Lane in Lynwood, was pronounced dead at 9:38 p.m. at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

The crash happened at 15100 Wood St. in Harvey, authorities said.

An autopsy on Sunday found he died of blunt force trauma to the torso in a motor vehicle crash and his death was ruled an accident.

Harvey police could not immediately be reached for comment.
