A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 32-year-old was in the 3900 block of West Lexington about 6:11 a.m. when he was shot in the shoulder, police said.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
