(GARY, Ind.) A Wisconsin man died Wednesday night after a shooting in northwest Indiana.

Lawrence Gray, 51, was shot in the 900 block of Sherman Street in Gary, Ind., according to a statement from the Lake County, Ind., coroner’s office.

Gray, of Milwaukee, Wis., was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:42 p.m., the coroner’s office said.

Gary police could not immediately provide further details about the shooting Thursday morning.
