Two men and a 14-year-old boy were wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

The three were outside in the 7000 block of South Aberdeen at 9:25 a.m. when someone emerged from a nearby alley and fired at them, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.

The 14-year-old was shot in the upper right leg and taken to University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, Sedevic said.

A 19-year-old man sustained two gunshot wounds to the back and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stable, Sedevic said.

The other man, 22, suffered a graze wound and may have refused medical treatment at the scene, Sedevic said.
