A man is in critical condition after a shooting early Saturday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was shot in the abdomen about 3 a.m. in the 5800 block of South Ada, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said. The man was walking when a vehicle pulled up and someone exited and opened fire.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Greer said.
