A man was shot multiple times early Sunday in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 12200 block of South Halsted about 4:30 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said, citing preliminary information.

A 33-year-old man was shot in both legs and the groin, Greer said.

Further details, including the man’s condition and what hospital he was taken to, were not immediately available.
