The Producers Guild of America today announced the nominees for best documentary, TV series/specials and digital series. Among them, “Life Itself,” the critically acclaimed documentary about the life and career of the late Sun-Times Pulitzer Prize-winning film critic Roger Ebert.

The field of nominations for The Award for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures category includes:

— “The Green Prince”

“Life Itself”

— “Merchants of Doubt”

— “Particle Fever”

— “Virunga”
