Avril Lavigne ‘health issues’ has fans deeply worried

Sometimes it’s almost worse to say something rather than nothing at all. That may be the case with Avril Lavigne, who has revealed that she has been dealing with some “health issues” — her way of explaining her recent absence from the celebrity scene.

The 30-year-old rocker turned to Twitter to speak to her fans, explaining why she’s been largely absent the past few weeks.

In a message she posted on the @AvrilMusicChart fan site, the singer wrote, “I feel bad because I haven’t been able to say anything to the fans to let them [know] why I have been absent. I’m torn as I’m quite private. I’m not feeling well. I’m having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers.”

No word on the nature of Lavigne’s health problems.
