(VILLA PARK) A woman is facing a drug charge after authorities intercepted 700 Xanax pills that were shipped to her west suburban home.

Nicole Bartlett, 30, was arrested Wednesday night and charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to a statement from the DuPage County sheriff’s office.

U.S. Customs and Borders Patrol intercepted a package containing nearly 700 Alprazolam (Xanax) pills that were shipped to Bartlett’s Villa Park home, according to the sheriff’s office.

Undercover detectives delivered the package to the 300 block of Bierman Avenue in Villa Park and arrested her, police said.

She is being held in the DuPage County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
