Yet another high-profile woman has come forward to accuse Bill Cosby of highly inappropriate behavior. Beverly Johnson, who long graced the world’s couture runways and the covers of all the top fashion magazines as one of the most famous supermodels, has charged Cosby with drugging her back in the ’80s.
In an essay at VanityFair.com, Johnson recalled an incident that took place in 1986. She explained she became friendly with the star while auditioning for a role on “The Cosby Show.” TV’s most popular dad then invited her back to his home to read for the part. According to Johnson, Cosby gave her a cappuccino, which, she claimed, made her feel strange. “My head became woozy, my speech became slurred, and the room began to spin nonstop,” Johnson wrote.
“As I felt my body go completely limp, my brain switched into automatic-survivial mode,” said Johnson. “That meant making sure Cosby understood that I knew exactly what was happening at that very moment.”
“You are a mother-[expletive] aren’t you?” Johnson claimed she told Cosby.
Fortunately, nothing further happened to the supermodel as Cosby reacted angrily to Johnson’s own fury — leading him to get her out of his house and into a cab.
Cosby’s legal team did not respond to a request for a comment on this latest allegation against their scandal-plagued client.
