Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old girl who went missing Thursday from the West Ridge neighborhood on the North Side.

Raya Garrett was last seen about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of West Rosemont, Chicago Police said in a statement. Garrett has not been attending school since moving to Chicago from Kadoka, South Dakota, police said.

Garrett is a 5-foot-7, 125-pound Native American girl with brown eyes and brown hair, police said.
