A man and a teenage boy were shot in the West Garfield Park neighborhood early Saturday on the West Side.

The man, 20, and the 17-year-old boy were shot in the 500 block of North Springfield at 1:25 a.m., police said.

The teen was shot in the ankle and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

The 20-year-old was found at the corner of Chicago and Pulaski with a gunshot wound to the chest and arm, police said. He was later taken to Stroger, where his condition was not immediately known.
