Two males were stabbed during a fight over a female in River North early Saturday.

About 3:05 a.m., two males were stabbed by another male in the 200 block of West Erie as the three men fought over a female, police said.

One male was stabbed several times in the back and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said. The other male was stabbed in the leg and was treated and released at the scene. THeir ages were not immediately known Saturday morning.

Police recovered a knife at the scene.

The male who allegedly stabbed the two — whose age was also not known — also suffered “superficial” wounds to his fingers, police said. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and charges are pending against him.
