A man was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side on Saturday afternoon.

The 24-year-old got into an argument with another person in the 900 block of North Karlov about 3 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.

The other person left, returned with a gun and shot the 24-year-old in the left hand and right leg, Sweeney said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
