“He thinks he’s part of the CIA. He thinks they’re trying to kill him, and he has a bunch of paperwork in his backpack that he’s a CIA agent and he was supposed to assasinate Obama.”

That’s part of a 911 call reportedly placed by a relative of Scott Stapp alleging the Creed frontman is “going crazy,” believing he has been trained by the CIA to assassinate President Barack Obama.

TMZ posted a two-minute excerpt of what it reports is a 40-minute call on its website Friday.

Stapp’s wife, Jaclyn, and sister-in-law placed the call to 911, according to TMZ, asking for the sheriff to assist the singer. He had left shirtless and riding his bike, carrying two backpacks full of tools and what one female voice on the call said he believed were CIA documents.

The gossip website also posted a 911 call reportedly made by Stapp claiming his wife has stolen his car and $6 million from him.

“What kind of country to we live in that I’m on a bicycle because she stole my car?” a male voice TMZ identified as Stapp said.
