Police issued an alert after two robberies Thursday in the Uptown neighborhood.

One person was robbed about 2:30 p.m. in an alley near the 4500 block of North Dover.

Several hours later, at 7 p.m., a woman was robbed after pulling into her garage in the 800 block of West Fletcher, police said.

The robber is likely 16, has a dark complexion and wears a mask or scarf to cover his lower face, police said. He is about 5-foot-7 and weighs 150-pounds. The teen was last seen wearing a maroon or burgundy sweatshirt.
