SHARE Police warn of violent robberies on Near West Side

Police issued an alert Saturday warning of three recent violent robberies on the Near West Side.

Three suspects walk up to a lone person and steal property by either pulling out a weapon or using “physical force,” according to the community alert from Area Central detectives.

The robberies happened:

-in the 2400 block of West Washington about 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 2;

-in the 2300 block of West Madison about 6:50 p.m. on Dec. 3;

-in the 200 block of North Artesian about 7:20 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call detectives at (312) 747-8382.
