Police: Teenage girl missing for a week from Chatham

A 14-year-old girl hasn’t been seen since she left her South Side Chatham neighborhood home a week ago.

Keirra Davis didn’t have permission from her guardian to leave the home in the 8100 block of South Maryland about 9 a.m. on Dec. 7, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Davis, a 5-foot-2, 180-pound black girl, was last seen wearing a black coat, blue leopard print pants, a black hat and pink gym shoes, the alert said.

The girl has diabetes and might not have enough medication, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Area South detectives at (312) 747-8274.
