It always is interesting to see who and what are the most “Googled” in any given year. Now Google has given us the list of the incidents and personalities who were the most researched by people in 2014. Here’s the breakdown:

On the trending searches list, Robin Williams was No. 1, obviously due to his tragic death. He was followed by World Cup, Ebola, Malaysia Airlines, Flappy Bird, ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, ISIS, Ferguson, “Frozen” and Ukraine.

Among living celebrities, Jennifer Lawrence topped the list, probably more for her hacked nude photos story than for her starring roles such as in “The Hunger Games” franchise. Following Lawrence were Kim Kardashian, Tracy Morgan (because of his accident), Ray Rice, Tony Stewart, Iggy Azalea, Donald Sterling, Adrian Peterson, Renee Zellweger and Jared Leto.
