(BATAVIA) A west suburban man charged with possessing child pornography was ordered held on a $150,000 bond on Friday.

Ernesto Navarro-Romero, 39, of Batavia is charged with 10 felony counts of possessing child pornography in which the victim is younger than 13, according to a statement from Batavia police.

The victim was an acquaintance of Navarro-Romero, and the content in question was created during a party this week at his home in the 1100 block of Lorlyn Circle, police said.

A judge set Navarro-Romero’s bond at $150,000 on Friday, according to the Kane County Sheriff’s office. His next court date wasn’t immediately known.
